Three steps lead from the terrace into a neat and pretty walled garden, planted with ornamental palms, giant taro and flowering shrubs. A pathway runs through the velvety lawn, which gently slopes down to the swimming pool and a tree-lined river with rice terraces rising steeply on the other side. The stone pool deck and furnishings follow the white theme of the villa, with four sunbeds and two umbrellas. At one end of the pool is pavilion with a flat roof supported by pillars, housing a bar with four stools. A large mirror behind the bar reflects the greenery of the garden and expands the space, a table for alfresco dining welcomes its guests. The sparkling 12-metre swimming pool incorporates a children’s pool at one end. There is an outdoor pool shower for the convenience of the guests, and a bubbling Buddha head water feature, which enhances the serene ambience. |
